Tips & Strategies

Don’t spread hero investment thin early on. Liam, Charlie, and Peggy are the easiest to level because campaign missions and daily quests drop their experience packs directly. Focus on these first before chasing Legendary heroes.

Your resource gathering heroes determine your growth speed more than your combat heroes early on. Assign gathering-specialized heroes to your troops on the world map — they directly increase how much you bring back per trip.

Never let your shelter sit idle. There’s always something to queue: a building upgrade, troop training, or research. Idle time is the easiest thing to eliminate and has a real compounding effect on power growth.

Join an alliance before you think you need one. Once your shelter becomes a target, it’s too late to negotiate. Being part of an active alliance — especially one with territory near your position — drastically reduces the chance of being raided.

Spend your speed-ups deliberately. Hoarding them feels safe, but burning them at the start of a timed event (like alliance war pushes or upgrade sprints) translates them into event points, not just faster timers.

Hero pairings matter more than individual hero level. Felix/Chasey for riders, Julia/Bard for ranged, and Miyamoto/Eddie for infantry are established PvP compositions — building one of these pairs to awakening before diversifying is more effective than spreading investment across multiple unfinished heroes.
